摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new deoxynucleoside kinase for synthesizing nucleoside monophosphate which is stable without addition of stabilizing SH reagents and stabilization of proteins during the synthesis of nucleoside monophosphates, accepts all the natural deoxynucleosides and can be obtained from nonvertebrate cells. SOLUTION: This kinase is a new recombinant deoxynucleoside kinase which is stable without addition of stabilizing SH reagents and stabilization of proteins during the synthesis of nucleoside monophosphates, accepts all the four kinds of natural deoxynucleosides and can be obtained from nonvertebrate cells. The kinase is used for the phosphorylation of nucleosides and is useful in the production or the like of nucleoside monophosphates. This recombinant kinase is obtained by cloning a cDNA arising from a dipteron of Drosophila melanogaster by means of polymerase chain reaction technique by the use of a primer consisting of the partial sequence, integrating the resultant structural gene into an expression vector in Escherichia coli to express in the Escherichia coli host cell.
