PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous direction storage of a cassette in a cassette storage case and identify an exclusive cassette storage case corresponding to the cassette while securing the position slip prevention function at the time of stacking the cases. SOLUTION: When a cassette 5 having the vertical and horizontal outer dimensions close each other is stored, a display section 15 utilizing a recessed and projected pattern displaying the storage direction approximate to the design of the cassette is provided on the upper face 1a of the storage case 1. Also an engaging section 17 engaged on a part 16 of the display section 15 and controlling the position shift of stacking respective storage cases 1 is provided on a lower face 1b.
