PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which high speed printing is realized while reducing the product cost. SOLUTION: An HDD 200 has a function for storing a print data of a plurality of pages, and a function for storing various data being used by a controller 100. When the controller 100 develops a data delivered from a host unit 500 using various data, the controller 100 acquires the bus right and communicates a data on the route (2). When the data is printed out to the HDD 200 without spooling, the controller 100 acquires the bus right and delivers a developed print data, as it is, to a plotter engine 400 through an MSU 300 on the route (3). When the data is spooled to the HDD 200, the controller 100 acquires the bus right and transfers the developed print data to the HDD 200 on the route (2) and stores the data therein. Subsequently, the MSU 300 acquires the bus right, receives a print data outputted from the HDD 200 on the route (1) and transfers the print data to the plotter engine 400.
