PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner and an air conditioner applicable to shops, offices and general homes, or the like in which air in a room is purified by an adsorption member and also odorous substance or harmful substance adsorbed by the adsorption member is oxidized and decomposed by a catalyst and is made odorless or harmless. SOLUTION: Odorous substance or harmful substance is separated from an adsorption member 3, and is oxidized and decomposed by a catalyst. Gas generated in this case is not discharged as discharge gas to the outside of machine but is circulated through the regeneration paths 14 of the inside of a regeneration path member 12 covering the adsorption member 3 from both sides in the thickness direction. Thereby, a discharge installation for discharged gas is not required and miniaturization is made possible. |
