PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the trouble occurring in water infiltration, etc., as a hygienic state may be easily maintained and there is no need for disinfecting and washing without direct contact of a main body portion with the inside of the patient's mouth as a cover is directly put on this portion. SOLUTION: This check light is projectingly provided with a shaft 6 at the front end of a grip part 8 internally housing a battery and is disposed with an electric bulb 4a at the front end of this shaft 6. In such a case, the cover 10 made of a heat resistant synthetic resin provided with translucency at least at its front end as a member to cover from the grip part 8 to the electric bulb 4a is put on this check light. A leg part 2 of a dental mirror 1 is mounted near the front end of the cover 10.
