PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chipper excelling in a feeding function of a body to be ground to the discharge port side and having a high grinding function. SOLUTION: In a chipper where a hopper 14 for feeding a body to be ground is erected on a base 12, a rotary blade 30 for grinding the body to be ground to be horizontally rotated is installed in the lower part of the hopper 14, and also a discharge port 18 for discharging the ground matter that has been ground is provided, a feeding blade 34 having plural blade arms having a downward pitch toward the outer periphery side and horizontally rotated is provided above the rotary blade 30.
