METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JUDGING SENSOR FAILURE IN PACHINKO BALL COUNTER AND OBTAINED BALL SELF-COUNTING PACHINKO MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for sensor failure judging, by which abnormality of the ball passage sensor of a Pachinko ball counter to count Pachinko balls flowing through plural Pachinko ball lining-up passages. SOLUTION: In a first condition in which Pachinko ball passing is detected only by one side ball passage sensor in Pachinko ball counting, a shutter in the upstream side of the sensor is closed to store Pachinko balls at the upstream side of the Pachinko ball liningup passage and the shutter is opened again by a timer means after a prescribed time to send a large amount of Pachinko balls into the ball lining-up passage to create a second condition in which the detection conditions of sensors are judged and the failure of the sensor is detected when a detection signal is not detected and the error is outputted.
