PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both hold performance and getting on and off efficiency of a seat for a vehicle without mutual interference by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This seat for a vehicle is provided with a swollen structure 4 for holding the body side of a seated person in a seated state on a bearing surface 5 contacting with the body surface of the seated person, and the outer surface parts of the bearing surface 5 and the swollen structure 4 are integrally formed with a seat cushion pad 7. A bent plate 15 having a receiving surface 16 abutting on the outside of the swollen part 14 of the seat cushion pad 7 and a receiving surface 17 abutting on the back of the seat cushion pad 7 corresponding to the seat part and having an open angle between the receiving surfaces 16, 17 is interposed on the back side of the seat cushion pad 7 oscillatable with a part between two receiving surfaces 16, 17 serving as a fulcrum 18.
