PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks in the solid part of a transfer sheet from being generated by setting the curling value one minute after copying at a level below a specific value, in a transfer sheet comprising at least a water-permeable support, a peelable layer and a transfer layer. SOLUTION: In order to prevent cracks in the toner, ink and the like from being generated when the dilation thereof is underway in the process in which the toner, ink and the like are set after curling to the transfer layer side following the formation of an image and the curling is moderated, the curling value one minute after the copying of a transfer sheet composed of at least a water- permeable support, a peelable layer and a transfer layer is set at 10 mm or less and thus the curling phenomenon after the copying procedure is inhibited. When the curling value is higher than 10 mm, the cracking of the toner layer is apt to be easily generated. The method for inhibiting the curling after the copying procedure is to form an anti-curling layer consisting of a water-soluble resin on the opposite face to the transfer layer with the support sandwiched in between, or use a material whose heat shrinkability is low in the transfer layer, the adhesive layer and a blocking prevention layer as an effective choice.
