PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror device for the automobile to adjust the angle of a mirror body for increasing the field of vision without interfering it. SOLUTION: A mirror holder 3 in a housing shape holds a mirror body 2. A power unit 4 is placed in the mirror body 2 and the mirror holder 3 and is attached to a stay 1. The mirror holder 3 is attached to the power unit 4 so as to allow adjusting the angle. Driving the power unit 4 tilts the mirror body 2 together with the mirror holder 3 with reference to the power unit 4 and the stay 1. Since the mirror bolder 3 is on the tilting part, and a mirror housing used to be on the stationary part along with the power unit 4 and the stay 1 no longer exists, the edge of the mirror body 2 does not goes inside the opening edge of the mirror housing used to be on the stationary part when the mirror body 2 together with the mirror bolder 3 tilts with reference to the power unit 4 and the stay 1. Thus, the adjusting the angle of the mirror body 2 does not interfere, but increases the field of vision.
