PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain constant steering feeling even when increasing speed or reducing speed by reducing the rotating speed of an electric motor according to acceleration in the case of acceleration of a vehicle being positive, and increasing the rotating speed of the electric motor according to acceleration in the case of acceleration being negative. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit ECU is supplied with a torque signal T and a vehicle speed signal V from a torque sensor and a vehicle speed sensor, and power from a battery 30 of a vehicle is supplied to an electric motor M through a driving circuit 29. On the basis of an acceleratiton signal obtained by differentiating the torque signal T from the torque sensor and the vehicle speed signal V from the vehicle speed sensor, the electronic control unit ECU reduces the rotating speed of the electric motor M if acceleration is in the positive direction, and increases the rotating speed of the electic motor M if acceleration is in the negative direction during non-steering or steering. |
