PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject protein by synthesizing it from DNA free of termination codon in the presence of a labeling reagent, having a labeling section and an acceptor section composed of a compound which can be bound to the protein's C terminal. SOLUTION: This protein, with labeled C terminal and useful for, e.g. analyzing protein functions, is efficiently obtained by synthesizing it in a cell-free translation system or living cell with a product transferred from DNA under control of a promoter region and composed of a coating region from which termination codon is removed, where the product works as the die, in the presence of a labeling reagent composed of a labeling section of a marker substance (e.g. fluorescent, radioactive or non-radioactive substance) and an acceptor section of a nucleic acid derivative which can be connected to the C terminal of protein (e.g. nucleic acid, puromycin with a nucleic acid connected to amino acid or its derivative, or derivative of the puromycin). |
