PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate oxygen from air economically and with high purity by making tow or more sets of magnets opposite to each other in the vertical direction on the wall surface of a flow passage or inside the flow passage and allowing N poles and S poles of magnetic poles to be alternately arranged side by side. SOLUTION: A vessel 1 consisting of rectangular nonmagnetic material long in the horizontal direction is provided on air inflow port 3 which becomes an inlet of fluid on the front surface side thereof, and it is provided with an oxygen discharge port 5 and a nitrogen discharge port 4 on the rear side thereof. On the upper and lower surfaces or the right and left surface perpendicular to flow passages, three pairs of magnets 2 are arranged so that their magnetic pole surfaces are faced to each other. At this time, the magnetic poles of the adjacent magnets are arranged so that N poles and S poles alternate with each other, and the magnetic poles of the magnets 2 opposite to each other with the two flow passages being put therebetween are arranged so that they become the S poles to the N poles and the N poles to the S poles. In this way, oxygen can be separated from air economically and with high purity. |
