<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic gas deodorization method for efficiently deodorizing malodorous components of an organic gas by the organic gas from a lower part to a base bed, and to provide an organic gas deodorization apparatus capable of carrying out highly efficient deodorization with a simple and economical structure and making the base bed of a deodorization part suitably usable as cultivation soil for plants and the likes. SOLUTION: This organic gas deodorization method includes deodorization and decomposition of malodorous components in an organic gas in a base bed 72 consisting of humus or soil by sending the organic gas to the base bed 72 from below. Plants are preferably grown in the base bed 72 and in this case, while being mixed with ozone, the organic gas is sent to the base bed 72, or sprinkling water may preferably be circulated. The organic gas deodorization apparatus comprises a deodorization part 7 comprising the base bed 72 on an air permeable bottom wall 60 formed in a container 6, a pretreatment part 8 formed under the bottom wall 60 for storing water by keeping a gap, and a gas sending apparatus 9 for sending the organic gas discharged out of an organic gas generation part 3 to the pretreatment part 8.</p> |
