<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation process (especially TSA type separation process) of dinitrogen monoxide N2O (further carbon dioxide CO2 or ethylene C2H4 and the like as the case may be), contained in gas flow (e.g. air) as impurities. SOLUTION: Dinitrogen monoxide and the like being impurities are removed by the use of faujasite type zeolite. In faujasite type zeolite, Si/Al ratio is 1-1.5 and 0-35% K+ cation, 1-99% Na+ cation and 1-99% (preferably >=50%) Ca2+ cation are contained. A separating process is performed preferably in a temperature range from about -40 deg.C to 80 deg.C, further preferable at room temperature. This process is especially effective as a method for purifying air of a raw material prior to low-temperature distillation process of air.</p> |
