PSA OR VSA UNIT HAVING COMMONLY CONTROLLED PRODUCTION- AMOUNT AND PRODUCT PRESSURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process capable of controlling a PSA or a VSA unit by which a reduced operation is enabled in accordance with optimized specific energy without controlling extra production-amount/pressure on the downstream part of the PSA or the VSA unit. SOLUTION: A process for controlling the PSA plant is that the plant is operated in a production cycle and has at least one adsorber and separates gas flow. The respective production cycles are equipped with at least one supplying process of supply-continuing time (TA), at least one production process, and at least one pumping process of pumping-continuing time (TP). The production process recovers flow of gas produced in preset nominal production-amount (DN) at the preset pressure(PP) of the product. TA and TP are commonly controlled to maintain the nearly constant pressure (PP) of the product in at least one actual production amount (DR) of the product not exceeding DN on the downstream part of the PSA plant.
