PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve thermal insulating performance by curbing heat dissipation from an upper side of an inner vessel. SOLUTION: An electric hot water storage vessel is provided with a vessel body 1 having an inner vessel 3, a lid 2 of the vessel body 1, a heating means 4 for heating the vessel body 1, a pouring passage 5 for pouring a hot water outside in the inner vessel 3 and a pump device 6 for delivering the warm water through the pouring passage 5. An inner lid 35 is provided for decreasing an area of heat dissipation in the inner vessel 3. The inner lid 35 is faced directly upward of a full water display part 14 of the inner vessel 3 from a upper opening of the inner vessel 3 so that heat dissipation from the opening of the inner vessel 3 is inhibited and an air layer in the inner vessel 3 is limited to a small amount.
