PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a school chair of an automatically storing type, which realize an automatically storing function by a simple structure to reduce the manufacturing cost and not be an obstacle to walking during non-use in view of the problems of the automatically stored type school chair. SOLUTION: This school chair comprises a support block 1 fixed on a floor F of a lecture room, a schoolroom or the like, parallel leg bodies 2, 3 arranged on the block 1 in parallel in the longitudinal direction with the lower ends pivoted to oscillate in the longitudinal direction within a range of a required, angle, and a seat body 5 having a seat plate, the lower part of which is pivoted on the upper ends of the parallel leg bodies 2, 3, which can be moved forward and backward in parallel by oscillation of the leg bodies 2, 3. During non-use, the parallel leg bodies 2, 3 are tilted forward and the seat body 5 is stored under a desk D.
