PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for spectacles capable of protecting spectacles, easily housing and taking out the spectacles into/from the main body of holder, surely and stably housing and holding the spectacles in the main body of holder, excellent in handleability, simplified in configuration, light in weight, rigid in structure, suitable for mass production and low in price. SOLUTION: An almost cylindrical main body A of holder is formed so that at least one end can become an opening part A1 and spectacles B in folding state can be freely housed from the opening part A1. Then, a lock A2 to freely appear/disappear inside the main body A of holder is provided at the central section of the main body A of holder in the direction of cylindrical center and when the lock A2 is protruded into the main body A of holder, the movement of spectacles B toward the cylindrical center inside the main body A of holder can be blocked by interposing the lock between the left and right nose pads of the spectacles B.
