PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen peroxide producing method capable of solving the problem of the distribution of phase or the wetting of a catalyst caused in a down flow reactor in the hydrogen addition stage of a process solution. SOLUTION: In this hydrogen peroxide producing method including an alternate stage of the hydrogen addition and the oxidation of the working solution containing anthraquinone dissolved in at least one kind of an organic solvent and the extraction of hydrogen peroxide formed in the oxidation stage, the hydrogen addition stage is performed by introducing the parallel flow of the working solution and a hydrogen addition gas into the bottom of a hydrogen addition reactor, successively raising in the reactor and passing through a fixed bed in the hydrogen addition reactor containing the fixed bed of a hydrogen addition catalyst.
