PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey and supply minute powder smoothly without 2 blocking phenomenon. SOLUTION: A powder feeder makes a powder 10 flow out from a designated slit 9 by applying ultrasonic vibration generated by a horn 4 of an ultrasonic motor 3 to the powder 10 freely flowing out from an outlet 2a of a hopper 2 by gravity. The hopper 2 is attached to the horn 4 by connecting the outlet 2a on the horn 4. The slit 9 is arranged on the overlap portion of the outlet 2a of the hopper 2 and the horn 4. The slit 9 is formed toward the horizontal direction on the outer edge 2a of the hopper 2. The size of the slit 9 is set up in a range to control free flow of the cross-linked powder and to allow free flow of the powder relieved from the cross-linked condition. Accordingly, ultrasonic vibration is applied on the hopper 2 and the slit 9 by the horn 4 and the powder 10 freely flowing out from the outlet 2a of the hopper 2 is sprinkled on the silt 9. The powder 10 relieved from the cross-linked condition by ultrasonic vibration can freely out of the slit 9 in this way.
