PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candy using xylitol, having its refreshing touch for a long time when the candy is stayed in a mouth, capable of being easily industrially produced in a large amount, and capable of minimizing the content of the xylitol. SOLUTION: This candy comprises a composition containing xylitol and sorbitol as essential components, wherein part or most of the xylitol is crystallized, and has a refreshing touch. The method for producing the candy comprises cooling the melted essential components down to the melting point of the xylitol or lower to crystallize part or most of the xylitol, and further cooling and solidifying the components. |
