<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience and usefulness of a walker by providing seat pipes additionally with a vertically foldable seat receiving member, fitting a seat detachably to the seat receiving member, and providing a handle pipe with a hand brake. SOLUTION: Each of lateral seat pipes 6 is horizontally provided between a fixed pipe 1-2a of a vertical pillar 1-2 and a fixed pipe 1-3a of a handle pipe 1-3 by bolts 6-4, and both ends of a seat receiving member 6-2 foldable in two at the center part are fitted to the seat pipes 6. One side of a seat 6-3 is rotatably fitted to the seat receiving member 6-2. A hand brake 7 is composed of a brake lever part 7-1 fitted to a grip part of the handle pipe 1-3, and a brake mechanism part 7-2 for braking a caster 9 fitted to a rear pipe 1-4. A walker can therefore be used comfortably.</p> |
