PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a sheet material conveyed on a platen of a sheet material conveyance device stably without being caught by a diverter. SOLUTION: A sheet material is conveyed onto a platen 3 at a first position of a diverter 25, a tip part thereof is brought into contact with a contact part 200 (top face) at a second position where it is turned and lowered, and the sheet material on the platen is scooped and guided to discharge the sheet material. When the diverter moves to the second position, at least one of a pair of turn centers 153 supporting the diverter is supported so as to move vertically so that the diverter comes into contact with the contact part uniformly. Consequently, the sheet material can be securely conveyed from the platen without increasing machining accuracy of parts supporting the diverter.
