PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a helper easily hold a user from the rear side when the user of a wheelchair is made to get on/off. SOLUTION: On the rear lower side of a body frame 11, an attaching member 30 is fitted, and on the rear side of the attaching member 30, a plate-form step main body 40 is fitted in such a manner that the front end portion is rotatably supported with a lateral rotating shaft 37. On the rear lower side of the step main body 40, a supporting leg 45 of a specified length is fitted in such a manner that the upper end portion is rotatably connected with a lateral rotating shaft 47. A rather upper part of the supporting leg 45 is connected to the attaching member 30 through lateral rotating shafts 38 and 48 by a link member 46. The step main body 40 moves to a rear side location which protrudes backward from the body frame 11, or an upper side location which is drawn to the body frame 11 side, and the supporting leg 45 protrudes downward from the step main body 40 at the rear side location, and the lower end portion comes into contact with a floor surface or the ground, to support the step main body 40 at a specified height, and is drawn to the step main body 40 side at the upper side location.
