PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer provided with perfecting print function by fixing an additional mechanism externally in which erroneous operation is suppressed surely. SOLUTION: A printer having an inverting sheet feeder 26 fixed rotatably to a printer body 25 through a fixed shaft 170 is provided with an anti-opening lever 163 being held rotatably about a fixed shaft 165 in the printer body 25. When the lock pin 164 of the inverting sheet feeder 26 is pushing one end part (left end part) of the anti-opening lever 163 downward, the other end part (right end part) engages the opening level 162 of a sheet discharge section cover 169 to prohibit movement of the opening level 162. Since the sheet discharge section cover 169 can be opened only when the inverting sheet feeder 26 is separated from the printer body 25, the printer can be protected against damage while preventing a print data from being missed. |
