PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incorrect collating detector saving an installation space and reducing a cost. SOLUTION: A plurality of chip-type light emitting diodes 16 are placed on four printed boards 15, which are fixed to a fixing plate 17 with the surfaces in which the diodes are mounted to be disposed at insides to form a hollow frame. A charge transfer element (CCD) camera 13 having a lens 13a is mounted on a mounting plate 14, fixed to a body case 11, and a frame 18 obtained by engaging a transparent glass plate 19 with the four boards 15 fixed to the plate 17 is also fixed to the case 11. Light emitting surfaces of the diodes 16 are formed in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis of a reflected light received by the camera 13 and the four boards 15 are disposed at position isolated in an axial direction from the camera 13 in a hollow frame. |
