PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a life-prolonging agent for a cut flower, capable of preventing the contrary effect caused by the excessive supply of the life- prolonging agent for the cut flower, hardly causing fear that the life-prolonging agent directly adheres to a hand and clothes, and having an easy-to-use shape. SOLUTION: This life-prolonging agent 1 for a cut flower stored in a bag comprises a bag body 2 consisting of a Heatron (phonetic) paper, and having a nearly square shape, and a powdery life-prolonging agent 3 for the cut flower, encapsulated in the inside of the bag body 2. The life-prolonging agent 1 stored in the bag is composed, for instance, from three kinds of bags for 100 cc, for 200 cc, and for 500 cc according to the amounts of the water in which the agent 1 is inserted. The life-prolonging agent 3 for the cut flower is gradually dissolved when the life-prolonging agent 1 is inserted into the water, and comes out from the bag body 2.
