PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried lift capable of preventing damage to a tire by an arm used for lifting a car body of a frame structure and allowing an easy operation. SOLUTION: A hinge member 20 is mounted oscillatably between an upper position for its upward projection and a side position for its horizontal projection along the longitudinal one side of the pedestals 11, and a pair of arms 30 are mounted at both ends of the hinge member 30 oscillatably in the approximately horizontal direction at its upper position. The hinge member and the arm are not projected upwardly from an upper surface of the pedestals 11, and are stored in a recessed part D formed on a floor surface G when they are located on the lowermost position. An assist mechanism 24 for elastically energizing the hinge member located on the side position toward the upper position is mounted between the pedestal and the hinge member, and further a tilting mechanism 25 is mounted for generating the elastic reaction force for pushing back the hinge member oscillated to the upper position, from the pedestal before it is contacted with the pedestal.
