PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the damage in each part corresponding to embossing rollers difficult to be generated and to machine the inside surface with high durability and high machining accuracy taking advantage of the properties of a cemented carbide steel by forming respective edge parts which are adjacent to each other of plural embossed plates so as to have tapered surfaces and forming a V-shaped groove in those mutual joint part. SOLUTION: Respective edge parts E between the adjacent embossed plates 4a, 4b of plural embossed plates are formed to have the tapered surfaces R1, R1 and a shallow V-shaped groove is formed in the joint part of them. At the time of embossing work where large pressurizing force acts, the stress concentration which is generated in the end parts where a step D is generated between the respective embossed plates 4a, 4b is suppressed and metal powder which is forcedly pushed into the gap S between the plates is easily outward removed by the V-shaped groove. The inclined angleθ1,θ2 of the tapered surfaces R1, R2 and widths F, F from the center of the gap S by which the depth and width of the V-shaped groove are decided are set to proper angles and dimensions.
