PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically mount a resin fixing tool at an ultrasonic horn with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic welding apparatus 1 comprises an ultrasonic horn 3 for holding a resin stud 7 having a flange 5 and a locking shaft 6, and a body 2 for bringing the flange 5 of the stud 7 held at the horn 3 into contact with a member to be mounted, and welds the flanges 5 to the member. The apparatus 1 also comprises a stud receiving member 10 for receiving the stud 7 from a feeding tube 5 in the state that the flange 5 is preceded, and a moving mechanism for moving the member 10 under the horn 3. The mechanism can move the shaft 6 of the stud 7 at the member 10 to a position adjacent to a container 30 of the horn 3. A recess 11 for seating the flange 5 is formed at the member 10. Negative pressure air is supplied to the recess 11 to vacuum suck the flange 5.
