PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely support an infant in a motor vehicle young safety seat even in newly-born infant period by providing a cushion member as continuously covers the left head, head top, and right head of an infant and a member connected thereto. SOLUTION: A head protector 100 is provided with, for example, a substantially U-shaped side cushion wall 101 opened on the shoulder side of an infant as a cushion member. A rear cushion seat 102 as a back member is provided extending over substantially the whole area of the inside surface of the cushion wall 101. The side cushion wall 101 is provided with connecting members 103, 105 to be connected to the shoulder belt of a safety belt used for a motor vehicle young safety seat on the infant shoulder side. Namely, the connecting belts 103, 105 are arranged on the lower surface side of the side cushion wall 101, and one end situated on the inside is fixed to the side cushion seat 101. According to this, the rear head of the infant in newly-born infant period can be sufficiently protected from an external impact.
