PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To orderly take out meat pieces after cutting by forming a number of ribs on a surface to be contacted with the sliced meat pieces, of a guide tool holding a banded blade in a state that a part of blade edge of the banded blade is exposed in a meat slicer for cutting the meat block by a straight scanning part of the circularly scanned endless banded blade. SOLUTION: A cylindrical holder 2 for holding the meat block 1 and intermittently sending the same from its lower end surface by a thickness to be cut, is longitudinally reciprocated and oscillated around a pin 3 through a crank device 5 by the operation of a motor 4, a lower end part of the cylindrical holder 2 is formed into the circular shape in a side view, and a receiving plate 6 is mounted. A banded blade 7 for cutting is mounted at a longitudinal proper interval from a front edge part of this receiving plate 6, and the banded blade 7 is scanned and guided along a guide tool 10 in a state that a part of blade edge of the banded blade 7 is exposed. A number of ribs 12 are formed on a surface to be contacted with the sliced meat, of the guide tool 10 in the direction perpendicular to the scanning direction of the banded blade 7 to ensure that the sliced meat is orderly taken out.
