PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formwork for a segment by which the segment provided with a joint at a joining end face and having a smooth inner surface is easily produced. SOLUTION: In the formwork for a segment, a space is surrounded by a bottom plate forming the inner surface of the segment, side plates provided in both side parts of the bottom plate and end plates 24 provided in both end parts of the bottom plate. The space is made to a concrete placing space S. A female joint 3 is held on the end plate 24a of one hand of the formwork 21 and a male joint is held on the end plate of the other hand. A positioning part 34 is engaged with the notched part 7 of a retainment plate 6 of the female joint 3. The body 33 of a metallic material is provided on the rear side of the retainment plate 6 by engaging the positioning part 34 with the notched part 7 of the retainment plate 6. A stationary metallic material 31 consists of the positioning part 34 and the body 33 of the metallic material. A recessed part-forming metallic material 32 is provided in the side part of the stationary metallic material 31 and forms the recessed part in the side part of the female joint 3. Fitting bolts 37, 40 are screwed into the female screw parts 35, 38 of the stationary metallic material 31 and the recessed part-forming metallic material 32 through the hole parts 36, 39 formed in the end plate 24a. The stationary metallic material 31 and the recessed part-forming metallic material 32 are fixed to the end plate 24a. The female joint 3 is held on the end plate 24a by the fitting bolts 37, 40.
