PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a container for luxury drink capable of efficiently reducing capacity by properly and uniformly compressing all of a large number of the containers for luxury drink by simple operation. SOLUTION: A container 7 for luxury drink is cut along a spiral cutting line from an upper end part to a lower end part by piercing a part of a drum part of the container 7 for luxury drink by projecting a knife edge 31 of a blade body 30 for cutting inside of a holding part 11 by a pressing revolving operation of a lever 41 on an operating means 40 after holding an upper end part of the drum part of the container 7 for luxury drink by winding and fastening it by a flexible band 20 and revolving the drum part axially in a direction to cut the drum part by the knife edge 31 while applying the pressing revolving operation force of the lever 41.
