PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and repeatedly use a thermal pad warming the diseased part of a body by heating a pad body filled with a material adsorbing the moisture in the atmosphere in an air-permeable bag body with a heating means such as a microwave oven to obtain the thermal pad. SOLUTION: Silica gel 2 is filled in a bag body 1 made of air-permeable cotton flannel or a nonwoven fabric to form a pad body 3. The bag body 1 is provided with stitched seams at three positions, and the silica gel 2 can be uniformly filled in the bag body 1 by the seams 4 not to be biased at one position. When a thermal pad is heated in a microwave oven, high frequencies can be uniformly irradiated to the silica gel filled in the bag body 1, and steam heat is uniformly generated. For use, the pad body 3 is stored in a dedicated cover made of cotton, then the thermal pad is heated in the microwave oven, and the heated thermal pad is put on a diseased part for a thermotherapy.
