PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter, capable of simplifying a mechanism for carrying seedling trays for pot seedlings along a prescribed seedling tray- carrying route, facilitating the maintenance and improving the carrying accuracy. SOLUTION: A mechanism for carrying seedling trays T along a seedling tray-carrying route 31 is formed so as to be switched to a state for carrying a seedling tray T or to a state capable of taking out the seedling tray T. In the state for carrying a seedling tray T, the seedling tray T is carried by nipping a part of the seedling tray T with a pair of carrying rollers 60, 61 arranged in the direction crossing a seedling tray-carrying direction and then rotating and driving a pair of the carrying rollers 60, 61 in a prescribed direction. In the state capable of taking out the seedling tray T, the seedling tray T can be taken out from the seedling tray-carrying route 31 without nipping a part of the seedling tray T with a pair of the carrying rollers 60, 61.
