PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject apparatus having an easily operable driving operating part at the hand and capable of efficiently planting without interrupting the planting work by providing a clutch operating part, a driving part and a driving.operating part, and locating the driving.operating part at a specific position. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter connects a planting part 2 plantable plural strings of seedling in rear of a self-propellable traveling part and an operator sits on an operating part provided in the traveling part, then the transplanter pulls the planting part 2 while self-propelling the traveling part, thus performs a seedling planting work by the planting part 2. The rice transplanter also has a clutch operating part connecting.cutting a clutch part, a driving part driving the clutch operating part and a driving.operating part 93, then the driving.operating part 93 is located at the vicinity of the operator sitting on the operating part.
