PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a nanosphere having high overall absorption of calcitonins, imparting durability and useful for the transpulmonary administration by coating a core part of a lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer with a mucosa-adhesive polymer. SOLUTION: The objective nanosphere is produced by coating the core part of (A) a lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer decomposable in vivo and containing calcitonins (e.g. elcatonin) known as a physiologically active peptide with (B) chitosan known as a tackifier polymer and preferably further with (C) a polyvinyl alcohol. Preferably, the copolymer of the component A contains lactic acid and glycol at a ratio of about 0.01:1 to 1:0.01 and has a molecular weight of about 2,000-200,000, the coating amounts of the components B and C are 0.005-5% (W/W) and 0.1-10% (W/W) based on the whole nanosphere, respectively, and the average particle diameter of the nanosphere is <=2,000 nm.
