PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inhalant preparation whose capsule coating film can keep excellent strength even in the case where the water content of the capsule coating film is set at a lower level and whose filled powdery drug can keep its dryness by filling a powdery drug in a specific capsule. SOLUTION: This inhalant preparation is obtained by filling (A) a powdery preparation to be used for an inhalant preparation whose inner powdery drug is administered into the respiratory tract by spray or inhalation in (B) a hard- gelatin capsule formed of hard-gelatin coating film containing a polyethylene glycol(PEG) having an average molecular weight preferably of 150-40,000. The content of PEG in the hard-gelatin coating film changes according to the molecular weight of PEG. It is 1-100 pts.wt. in the case of less than 800 in the average molecular weight, 1-50 pts.wt. in the case of not less than 800 and less than 2,000, 0.5-15 pts.wt. in the case of not less than 2,000 and less than 5,500, 0.2-10 pts.wt. in the case of not less than 5,500 and less than 12,500, and 0.1-5 pts.wt. in the case of not less than 12,500, based on 100 pts.wt. of gelatin.
