PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model driving device for driving the model of a ship, an automobile and a horse, or the like, used for a game device and a toy, or the like, and the game device provided with the model driving device. SOLUTION: In this model driving device, the model and a traveling body 50 are vertically arranged, holding a traveling plate 17 therebetween, and the model is connected by the attracting magnetic force of a permanent magnet provided on the model and permanent magnets 51 and 52 provided on the traveling body 50 and travels on the traveling plate 17 following the traveling of the traveling body 50. The driving wheel 61 of the traveling body 50 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the traveling plate 17 and rotationally driven. Also, the traveling body 50 travels between the lower surface of the traveling plate 17 and a supporting surface 23 formed almost parallelly to the lower surfaced of the traveling plate 17 below the traveling plate 17.
