PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the content of elutable material and to enable the use which does not adversely affect a clinical inspection value by forming a medical plug body of crosslinked rubber and treating the plug body by a solvent of pressure exceeding ordinary pressure. SOLUTION: The plug body is formed by using the crosslinked rubber and is treated by the solvent of the pressure exceeding ordinary pressure when producing the medical plug body which is adequately used for vacuum blood specimen collection tubes, medical containers, containers for transfusion, etc. The conditions thereof are specified to ordinary pressure to 1.0 MPa in pressure and 30 to 180 deg.C. The crosslinked rubber is not particularly limited insofar as the compounded rubber is subjected to a crosslinking treatment. Such rubber includes isoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, etc. The compounding agents to be added include an organic peroxide, vulcavnizer, vulcanization accelerator, reinforcing agent, etc. The plug body consisting of the crosslinked rubber is treated by the solvent of the pressure exceeding ordinary pressure in the manner described above, by which the elutable material contained in the plug body is extracted by the solvent and is reduced. |
