PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device which can estimate an oil temperature directly without using an oil temperature sensor and start an electric motor with no problem, even under an extremely low temperature. SOLUTION: When an electric motor M is driven, its current is detected and the temperature increase rate responding to the heat quantity per the unit time of a driver element 31 produced by the current is found out by a data and sumed up timely and made to the temperature increase value for the oil temperature and the oil temperature is estimared by this temperature increase value and the temperature of driver element 31. Thereby, the oil temperature can be estimated directly without using an oil temperature sensor and the motor is started, even an extremely low temperature time. |
