PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging device by which a spline tooth with a chamfer of reversed taper shape is forged, a gear member after forming is taken out outside in the radial direction while knocking out the gear member upward as well as ascending a segment die, the gear member is ejected upward and is transferred by a transfer. SOLUTION: A knock out mechanism 13, which knocks out a gear member W after forming upward through plural knock out pins 12 vertically piercing a lower support table 3/a segment guide 5 and extending, is arranged, in parallel with a process where a gear member W is knocked out, plural segment dies 9 are ascended by a die support ring 8, at the same time, these segment dies 9 are moved outside in the radial direction by plural guide grooves 5b and are removed from the gear member W. Thus, the gear member W is greatly ejected upward and quickly and easily is transferred to a transfer, a cycle time is shortened.
