PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge bubbles remaining in an ink passage at the filling operation for a liquid for shipment to be filled in a recording head and the ink passage to the recording head in shipping a product. SOLUTION: A liquid for shipment is supplied to a connection jig 31 which is to be loaded to an ink supplying needle 21 of a head case 71 from a tank storing the liquid for shipment through a tube 32, then the liquid for shipment is filled in a recording head 7 and an ink passage to the recording head 7. A valve unit 37 is disposed in a part of the tube 32. In a closing condition of the valve unit 37, a negative pressure is applied to a nozzle-formed face of the recording head 7 by means of a capping means 10, then the valve unit 37 is opened, so that a fast flow of the liquid for shipment can be generated in the ink passage, thereby discharging bubbles therein by virtue of the fast flow of the liquid for shipment to a side of the capping means 10. |
