PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a picture by scattered beams without using a grid board in radiation image forming device forming the three- dimensional image of a subject. SOLUTION: A detector is arranged at a short distance position from the subject to detect radiation transmitted through the subject for each projecting direction by the detector to generate projection picture data I1 for the short distance position. Next, the detector is disposed at a long distance position from the subject to generate projection picture data I2 for the long distance position. A size equalizing means 31 applies magnification process to the data I1 to obtain projection data I1' which has been subjected to size equalization and magnified by the same magnification as for the data I2. A scattered beam component reducing means 32 extracts scattered beam components S2 based on the data I1' and I2 and subtracts the components S2 from data I2 to generate reduced projection picture data from which the components S2 is reduced.
