PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a picture by correcting the fluctuation of an X-ray quantity signal owing to the periodical displacement of X-ray beams. SOLUTION: Reference X-ray quantity measuring instruments 1A, 1B for measuring a reference X-ray quantity which is not transmitted through an examinee 17 among X-ray beams 2 from an X-ray tube 14 are arranged at both ends of an X-ray detector of a multi-slice type 15 disposed to face the tube 14 on the scanner of an X-ray CT device. During scanning, the measurement of picture data and that of reference X-ray quantities A, B (3A, 3B) are nearly simultaneously executed to output the former as a measuring data signal 4 and concerning the latter, after adding the quantities A and B (3A and 3B) together by an adder 5, to output their average as a reference X-ray quantity. After that, the signal 4 is corrected by being devided by the reference X-ray quantity by a divider 6 and outputted as a picture data signal 7.
