PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic shampoo machine with which cold water from a nozzle for washing on the first stage of a shampoo process is turned into non-spray state, this cold water is prevented from being sprinkled over the head of a person to be shampooed and cold water is effectively utilized. SOLUTION: A three-way valve 20 is provided in the middle of a route from a pump 6 for hot/cold water supply to the nozzle for washing, a three-way valve control part 21 controls the three-way valve 20, and one part of washing water pumped out of a hot water tank 3 for a fixed period from the start of the washing process is branched through the three-way valve 20 to a hot/cold water circulation pipe A2. Thus, the quantity of water to be supplied to the nozzle for washing is reduced.
