PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject control unit intended to facilitate the control operations of a pressure control means for controlling the pressure of a ultra- low-speed valve for conducting changing the travel speed of a travel unit, corner turning, and direction correction, etc. SOLUTION: This travel control unit has such a scheme that, the flank of a travel vehicle 2 mounted with a hydraulic stepless variable-speed gear is equipped with a bulbous vegetable conveyor 3 supported on a link device 36a and the travel speed of a travel unit 8 is changed to a ultra-low-speed or the travel motion is brought to an electrically 'off' mode through a ultra-low-speed valve 15 by bypassing from the high-voltage side of the hydraulic stepless variable-speed gear; wherein the changeover valve 29 for the ultra-low-speed valve 15 and the pressure control means for a pressure-reducing valve 30 are furnished on the rear portion of the link device 36a so as to be controllable from the outside of the flank of the link device 36a.
