PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection system by which data from each communication equipment are collected by the data collection device by changing a communication route of data without increasing the number of the communication devices on the occurrence of a fault in a communication device. SOLUTION: Data are collected in a prescribed order by using the inter- slave-set direct communication mode among pluralities of radio communication equipments 211-213 installed corresponding to pluralities of data generators 221-223 arranged distributingly. The 1st and 2nd radio communication equipments 212, 212 are placed in an area of at least one radio communication equipment 211 communicated in the inter-slave-set direct communication mode among pluralities of the radio communication equipments 211-213. The 1st radio communication equipment 212 conducts communication next by the 1st radio communication equipment 212 and then the 1st radio communication equipment 212 conducts communication next by the 2nd radio communication equipment 213.
